The whole body-shaming thing.
Like “love your body” “your curves are beautiful” “blah blah blah”
And don’t get me wrong I totally agree that everyone is beautiful

But what about the girls who are naturally thin? Naturally petite? I think I’ve seen maybe one picture of a thin girl in an anti-body shaming picture. And she was drawn.

I’m 5’1, 95 lbs, size 00, and I’m 19. I’m the size of an average 12 year old. And you know how often I get told to feel good about my body? How often I get told that my skinniness is alright?
Never.

If I ever say anything about my body, I get eye rolls and chuckles. I get “oh please” and “oh yeah, must be tough being a double zero”. No one ever considers that maybe it is hard that most of the cute clothes don’t fit me. Maybe it is hard that everyone is taller than me. Maybe it is hard being this small when you haven’t got a choice.

So just, consider that just like anything else, body shaming is the same all around.
